The picturesque view seen with the redness of dawn on the banks of the holy Ganges in the holy and sacred city of Rishikesh, situated in Uttarakhand, India, is a yogi engrossed in yoga practice.
This young Yogi sitting in PADMASNA on bank of river ganges,is ready to perform ASNAS.
1. Stand facing the Sun and place your hands in front of the chest in Namaskar position.
12. Inhale, open your hands from the front and take them backwards, keep your eyes towards the sky, bend your waist backwards as much as you can.
3. Exhale and bend your hands in front of the back and rest them on the ground near the feet. If possible, rotate and touch the palms and try to touch the head with the knees.
4. Now while bending down, keep the palms resting on both sides of the chest, lift the left one and take it back to Bhujangasana 6. position, the right foot should remain between the two hands,
6.Exhale and take the right leg back. Keep the neck and head between both the hands. Lift the waist up and bend the head down and look at the navel.
1. Surya Namaskar provides health and energy to the entire body. If possible, do it at sunrise. You can repeat Surya Namaskar 11 to 21 times as per your capacity.
